PURPOSE OF ISPIS

ISPIS is a Japanese program　designed not only to improve Japanese　language competency　but also to understand the culture　of speakers of other　languages. The program is intended　for three different　groups:

  • (1) Students
    who want to become proficient　in Japanese and　learn Japanese culture.
  • (2) Students
    who need to become proficient　in Japanese so　that they can be accepted　into accademic programs　at Japanese schools.
  • (3) Students
    who want to take Japanese　language lessons at IEC　college as options besides　taking their　Summer Field eminar here　in Japan provided by　their own colleges and universities.
